Contains no halogenated solvents ( Methylene Chloride ), phenol, acids, strong alkalines or any heavy metals.
Thixotropic
Sunset Strip clings to vertical, inclined and overhead surfaces to ensure maximum coverage when applying.
Fast Working
Provides excellent removal of polyurethane, epoxy and other paint systems. Other “green” strippers can as long as 24-48 hours to take effect.
Long Shelf Life
Sunset Strip has a shelf life of 2 years, ensuring your purchase will be used to its full potential before expiring.
Properties
Sunset Strip is a viscous orange colored liquid with a mild odor similar to Turtle Wax. Sunset Strip has no flash point.

Notes Prior to Handling

Before using Sunset Strip product, all safety and operating instructions should be read and understood. If you have any questions, please contact a WEBBERTEK representative before proceeding.

Use Procedures

Application:

Optimum performance is attained at temperatures between 75 – 87°F (24 – 30°C).
The surface to be stripped should be clean and completely dry.
Spray an even, medium coat of stripper, starting from the bottom of the aircraft and working upward.
Keep the surface wet with stripper until the paint buckles.
When the paint is lifted, agitate the surface to remove the loosened paint.
Reapply stripper as required.
When all of the paint has been lifted, use a brush, squeegee or high pressure cold water to remove the loosened paint and residual stripper.
Thoroughly rinse the surface with water.

Use Procedures

Equipment:

Use a high-pressure (5:1 or 10:1) air-activated pump equipped with a 0.5 in.(1.3 cm) inside diameter high -pressure hose and spray wand with a fan-type spray nozzle. Suitable pumps for this application are 10:1 air-activated pump Models 224-342 or 224-348 available from Graco Corp., Minneapolis, MN.
Use a fan-type spray nozzle (such as 2508) for this application. One manufacturer is Spraying Systems Co., Wheaton, IL (Part #11006).
Apply the stripper using a pump inlet pressure between 80 to 110 psi.
For small applications a Wagner Airless Spray can be used.

Safety and Handling

Skin or eye contact can cause irritation. Chemical goggles, face shield, chemical resistant gloves and protective clothing sufficient to avoid contact are recommended.
In case of accidental contact, flush area thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
Do not take internally.
Use in well-ventilated areas.
Do not mix with other paint strippers or materials containing chromium.
Do not store used stripper and removed coatings in closed container as an exothermic ( severe heat ) reaction may occur.
Spent drums from Sunset Strip should be thoroughly rinsed before disposal.
If used stripper is placed back into the original Sunset Strip drums, these drums MUST first be rinsed thoroughly and only closed with a vented cap.
